eXposure Program

About:

eXposure is a nonprofit program of The Napoleon Complex Project that serves to provide Universities & HBCU college students with insight and exposure to the multi-media industry. Students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities who have interest in the Arts, Television and Film production, Radio, Media, Public Relations and Live event production are selected to participate in opportunity building events throughout the year.

History:

It’s no secret that HBCU’s & small Colleges are continuing to operate under limited funds and little resources, especially during the current economic recession. And, with financial loss comes cuts to vital areas such as technology, equipment, adjunct professorships, and guest speakers. Seeing this as a major hurdle for these college students, CEO/Founder Don Napoleon launched eXposure as a way to provide students with the resources and opportunities they need.

Through eXposure, HBCU graduate and television/video producer Don Napoleon found a way to give back to his college and other struggling HBCU’s by providing students with the opportunity to learn about the latest technologies, equipment, and tools to help them in their pursuit of a career in multi-media.

Don Napoleon is a graduate of Virginia State University and currently serves as a senior producer, videographer, and photographer in the Washington, DC area. Don credits his success to meeting the right people, making the right connections, and being eXposed to the right tools and resources. He knows the struggles and obstacles of “making it” in the highly competitive field of television and film production and feels it is only right to give back what he has learned.
